Meet Kiaan, the founder of ResolveIt
Kiaan achieved a grade 9 in GCSE Maths and an A* in A-Level Maths. He founded ResolveIt while studying Finance and Accounting at the University of Nottingham, where he graduated with a 2:1 in 2025. As Founder, he sets the standard for everything ResolveIt does. He designed the teaching framework our tutors deliver and built the systems that keep quality consistent across the company.
Kiaan sat his own GCSEs and A-Levels recently enough to remember exactly what it takes to get a 9 and an A*, and what makes students switch off. He and every ResolveIt tutor are DBS-checked. He still teaches, and as the team grows his job is to make sure every student gets the same structure, the same expectations and the same level of care, whoever is teaching their group.

Too often, a child’s progress in Maths depends on which tutor they happen to find. ResolveIt was built to remove that lottery. By combining a carefully selected team of tutors with a single, proven teaching framework, we deliver a consistent standard of excellence to every family we work with.
We’ve supported 250+ students across GCSE and A-Level — taught in ability-matched small groups, held to the same exacting benchmark, with 90% of those who stay six months reaching their target grade.
Our Story
From one tutor to a hand-picked team
ResolveIt began with a simple frustration: brilliant students were being let down by inconsistent, unstructured tuition. Our founder, Kiaan, set out to prove that Maths tuition could be delivered to a genuine professional standard — structured, measured, and relentlessly focused on outcomes.
What started as a personal commitment to quality has grown into a small specialist team operating under RKP Ventures Ltd, with 250+ students supported so far. Throughout that growth, one thing has never changed: every student is taught to the ResolveIt standard.

The philosophy

The bar
Recent graduates, master’s students and PhD students only. Every one of them scored top grades in Maths themselves, and every one of them is DBS-checked. Nobody teaches a single class until they have cleared our interview process.

The oversight
Every tutor is trained in the ResolveIt framework, and our academic team reviews lessons and quality-controls every group, so the standard never depends on which tutor is in the room. Whoever teaches the lesson, the method, the materials and the standard are the same, because they all come from one ResolveIt system.

The commitment
Every tutor commits to a minimum of one year with ResolveIt, so your child’s tutor is not a stopgap who disappears mid-year. Consistency of relationship is part of the product.
